Electromagnetic Brake Workiing Principle, Definition And Characteristics
Release Date:24/08/2019
Electromagnetic Brake Working Principle:
When there is a current passing through the magnetic coil of the electromagnetic brake, the electromagnetic force attracts the brake pad and releases the brake disc using the brake pad.At this time, the drive shaft is normally operated or started with the brake disc. When the current of the electromagnetic brake is cut off, the brake pads are disengaged from the brake disc. The friction torque is generated between the brake disc and the brake pad and the flange to stop quickly using the drive shaft.
Electromagnetic Brake Definition:
Electromagnetic brake refers to excitation brake, which is generally composed of wire seat (magnetic coil), brake pad, guide seat and other components. It is a device that brakes, stops or holds a shaft or a rotating body, and the use of electromagnetic force to action is called electromagnetic brake or electromagnetic brake.
Electromagnetic Brake Features:
Electromagnetic brake has the characteristics of small size, light weight, compact structure, convenient operation, simple installation, high frequency operation, safe and reliable, durable, easy maintenance and easy to achieve long-distance operation and other characteristics.
Note: The type of electromagnetic brake mentioned above is dry single-disc electromagnetic brake, DC24V friction type 0+ series.
